Leonie Roessler Early Childhood Music Lessons

Early Childhood Music Lessons - The Hague

Hi I'm Leonie! With years of teaching experience, and with being a mom myself, I understand how important it is to create a stimulating and safe environment where learning can take place in a playful way. Group or individual lessons are possible, so children can sign up alone or with a friend or family member of a similar age.

1 - Introductory Music Lessons - (Age 4 - 6)

A set of 10 lessons in which the children explore various instruments; the piano, guitar, ukulele, some percussion, and possibly the recorder. The lessons are structured around musical games and present basic concepts to the child (sound and silence, high and low notes, long and short notes etc.) With simplified notation the children can compose their own songs and learn to understand that symbols can represent musical sounds. Children can sign up with a friend, brother, or sister, if they like.

2 - Introductory Music Lessons - (Age 6 - 8)

A set of 10  lessons in which the children get to explore their voice, ukulele, percussion, the guitar, recorder and the piano. The children are introduced to basic music notation and have a chance to figure out which instrument they might like to learn, whether they would like to work on their voice, or become an 'all-round artist'

3 - Sing and Play -  (Age 6 - 8)

These lessons are designed to teach children to sing and to play either guitar or piano to accompany themselves.  Basic music theory and chords will be taught, as well as a healthy physical approach to playing an instrument and singing.

4 - Write Your own Song!

More advanced students might like to work on writing and recording their own songs songs during their lessons. These lessons are possible to single students or in small groups
