Abriël Ferreira Trumpet Lessons in Amsterdam

Trumpet Lessons for all Ages and Abilities

Hi, I'm Abriël. I'm an enthusiastic and pro Amsterdam based trumpet teacher. Whether you are just getting started on the trumpet, or are an advanced player looking to improve your sound and technique, I will develop a personalised lesson plan tailored to your abilities and goals.

Classical - Jazz - Funky - Pop - Salsa

I come from a diverse background of playing jazz, salsa, classical funk and pop, and enjoy teaching the fundamentals of music theory and trumpet technique through music that moves you the most.

Fun in Music First!

There are many technical aspects that come into play when studying the trumpet. From breathing to posture, mouth and tongue position, flexibility and finger dexterity. With all this in mind, it's sometimes difficult to remember that the first priority is making music and having fun! Want to Try? Book a trial lesson!

Flexible and able to travel

I teach in Amsterdam Oost (Q Factory). Lessons at my home studio in Koog aan de Zaan are also possible. I am also available for lessons at home within reasonable distance in the Amsterdam area. I can also arrange lessons outside of Amsterdam (conditions apply). I speak both English and Dutch fluently

Online Trumpet Classes

I also offer fun, comprehensive and motivating online lessons for beginners, intermediate and advanced players. Live feedback and instructions!

Help buying the right Instrument!

When starting out, choosing what trumpet to buy can be confusing and sometimes stressful! I am happy to give advice and accompany you to a music shop, to ensure the choice you make is right for you.

She is the daughter of American expats and was born and raised in The Netherlands. After completing her Bachelor's degree in Jazz Trumpet at the Amsterdam Conservatory in 2019, Abriel has gone on to have a diverse playing career. She is currently the trumpet player for the Dutch and Belgian tour of Annie the Musical.
