About Çisem

Turkish violin player Çisem Özkurt had her first approach to violin in Ankara at the age of 12. After having Erasmus exchange in Karol Lipinski Academy of Music Wroclaw, Poland she finished Hacettepe University Ankara State Conservatory as top student of the department, as honored top student of the university. She studied her masters in Gordan Nikolic and Goran Gribajcevic’s classes in Codarts University of Arts Rotterdam.
She gives concerts as a soloist in France, Switzerland, Italy and Holland. She had countless recitals and chamber music concerts in many cities of Europe and Turkey. She frequently performs at international festivals playing Classical, Pop, Jazz, and World Music. Amongst others she performs with Tim Kliphuis, Eric Vloeimans, Karsu en Yannick Hiwat.
