Why Music for Toddlers?

Music is an art, accessible from a very young age. Teaching toddlers to listen to music is a gratifying experience. Early childhood music lessons contribute to a better concentration, fine motor skills, body awareness, empathy, time and space awareness and much more.

Benefits

Music and movement provide young children with so many benefits. They help children develop skills such as cognitive growth, problem-solving, self-expression and social development. Without music and movement in early childhood education, a child's learning is incomplete.

1 - Music for Toddlers (4-6 years)

The children explore singing and various instruments; the piano, guitar, some percussion, and possibly the flute and recorder. The lessons are structured around musical games and present basic concepts to the child (sound and silence, high and low notes, long and short notes etc.)
The goal for this age group is to get acquainted with music. We learn to listen, to connect audition to the other senses, such as the touch, vision and space orientation, in a playful way. And yes, we dance a lot!

2 – Early Childhood Music Lessons (6-8 years)

In this group, we go deeper around the goals of age group 1. Dance becomes a conscious movement. We prepare for the manipulation of the musical instruments and have alot of fun! Imagination combines both the story and the emotions. We learn how music works and construct our first musical instruments!
We learn about various instruments and the music they are used for. Also, we discover how to write notes. We read and perform musical pieces from the score using a unique methodology developed by me, Anastasia. The group's goal is to appropriate the music and make a musical work a preferred piece.

3 - Piano Lessons for Young Children (4-8 years old)

Most kids like to learn the piano. With my playful method, they play their first tunes in a couple of lessons! Whatever instrument your child might choose later on, some knowlegde of the piano will contribute to a better understanding of music theory.
We engage in more profound preparation for instrumental lessons in a playful way. We also take some time to learn the musical notes.

4 - Try out a musical instrument

This group is open to all ages, starting at 6 years old. Following the lessons, we discover and explore instruments of the symphonic orchestra, early music and pop styles (where available). The children have a chance to figure out which instrument they might like to learn, whether they would like to work on their voice, or become an 'all-round artist' Both 3-sessions courses by instrument and all-year-round study programs (discovering 10+ instruments) are available.

Individual - Group Lessons

Depending on the amount of children, their and your wishes, lessons can be given individualy or in groups.

Duration of the Lessons

Individual lessons last 30 or 45 minutes. Group lessons last 45 and 60 minutes. Piano lessons last 30 and 45 minutes
