Guitar Lessons in The Hague and Scheveningen

Hello, I am Cem Ergul, experienced young guitar teacher in The Hague. Are you an enthusiastic lover of Classical Spanish guitar music like Rodrigo, Albéniz, de Falla or Ginastera? Do you wish to play Bach or other classical composers? Or prefer songwriter and just want to be able to play some nice songs?

Pop to World Music

I teach also pop, jazz, and many different traditional music styles: Turkish, Kurdish, Armenian, Azerbaijanian and Persian. The lessons can also be held in Turkish.

Electric guitar

Prefer Blues or Pop? Learn to play electric guitar and how to use pedals and software? No problem! Book a trial lesson.

For All Ages

There is no such thing as too late! My lessons are for adults, teenagers and children. The guitar is waiting to be discovered by you anytime. However, the best time is now!

What can you expect?

You will learn how to play with plectrum, finger style or classical technique. You'll learn chords, tabs and to read music. When you practise focussed and frequently, you'll find yourself playing your first tunes on the guitar in no time!

Posture

To be able to play with a relaxed posture is important. With exercises for your left hand you will learn how to make fluid transitions and also how to grab chords in a proper way.

Music should be fun and I will always inspire you to take the next step, to take it a little further, move you into a new direction or motivate you to practise more and keep the passion alive at all times.

Ukulele

Do you wish to learn Ukulele and sing along with that beautiful instrument? Then my lessons are the right place for you! Bring your own songs and learn more chords and strumming patterns.

Music Theory

From the very beginning, like reading music or differentiating styles, to the very advanced subjects like modern harmony, composing and arranging, everything is there for me to teach you.

My Studio - At Your Home - Online

The lessons are at my home studio in The Hague, Zuiderpark. I also can come to you in Scheveningen or The Hague, if preffered. Online lessons can be arranged.

About me

I studied at the conservatory from the age of 8, spent 10 years, learning, and practicing every day. I won competitions in Romania, Italy and Turkey and gave countless concerts in different settings. Teaching is a big passion of mine!
