Hey! I am Panos Tsamouras. I am a passionate guitarist, composer and music teacher in Rotterdam. My professional and academic musician's career has brought me close to many different styles and genres. From pop songs, classical guitar repertoire to Greek folk music, Rebetiko and Contemporary Classical music, whatever you want to play, I would love to inspire you!

Rebetiko - Bouzouki - Folk Guitar

New to the guitar? Any music style is appropriate to learn the guitar. With me you also can learn a solid and creative  technique for bouzouki or (folk/classical) guitar. You'll be combining practice and theory in order to develop into a musician with a strong personal identity!

Trial Lesson

The trial lesson is an excellent option to get an impression of my teaching style, to discuss your goals, preferred music styles, lesson location and lesson prices.

The Lessons cover:

• picking with the nail technique,
• Strumming patterns
• ornaments and phrasing and a big repertoire as well!

Intermediate - Advanced

Specifically for advanced players, I would love to convey my personal technique of playing Greek Folk, Ottoman Classical and Rebetiko music on the classical guitar.

Having written many transcriptions of these types of music for guitar, I would be very happy to explain you the technique and the mentality behind every note!

About Me

My name is Panos Tsamouras and I was born in Athens in 1998. I am a guitarist, folk guitarist, composer and Film/Theatre composer. I graduated from the Department of Music Science & Art (University Of Macedonia) in 2021. The same year, I obtained my Classical guitar degree when I had the pleasure to present my own transcription of a Classical Ottoman semai by Nikolaki. Through these years, I have played in several music halls, restaurants, taverns and Festivals mainly in Athens and Thessaloniki. I have created two bands to perform my covers of Greek Folk music (Ninema band, Gidelim band) and many duets and trios who perform Rebetiko music. Moreover, I have composed music for 4 theatrical plays (Alkistis by Eurpidis, Stella, The appeal of Charm, Izutsu) and this year I started my postgraduate studies in Screen Scoring in Codarts where I work into composing music for films and TV. The highlight of my composing career though, is my participation in the Podcast sector of Thessaloniki International Film Festival in 2022 and 2023 for the podcasts I had composed music for.
