Ciao! I'm Piero Conte, professional guitarist and guitar teacher in Rotterdam Noord. Music is my absolute passion, I love teaching and I'm in love with the endless possibilities of the guitar. It can be played in almost every music style!

Private Guitar Lessons - All Ages

My one on one guitar lessons ar for children, teenagers and adults,  both beginners to advanced. I give the lessons in Italian or in English.

Your favourite genre

Learn how to play the right groove, sound, melody and harmony in your favourite music. From pop and folk songs, jazz standards to gospel, jazz, blues or hiphop.  I'm happy to help you with targeted exercises, specific studies, tips and fun learning materials.

You are welcome in my fully equipped music studio, located in Teilingerstraat 126 C, Rotterdam. Just behind central station!

Trial Lesson

During the trial lessons we play some music and discuss your goals, music styles, location, lesson times and you get an impression of how I teach. I'm curious to hear from you what guitar(s) you play on. If you don't have an instrument yet, no worries, I have a guitar for you ready, so that you can play your first tune! Hope to see you soon!

Beginners - Children - Adults

One of the first things you'll learn is where to place your fingers on the fretboard, to be sure that the notes clearly ring out. Get started with essenial chords and your first songs. Reading music, tabs, basic music theory can be part of the lessons. Let's have fun!

You can compliment your own sound with effect pedals.  My electric guitar lessons in Rotterdam Noord offer lots of information, tips and advice on how to use and explore different sounds and effects.

Production & Songwriting

I'm a skilled producer and I can teach you how to record your song or use the software Ableton in a creative way! Discover how to complete your sketches and ideas and how to extend those to different instruments!

With the lesson packs of 5 or 10 lessons you have flexibility and you will never forfeit a lesson.

About Me

I'm an Italian guitarist, living in Rotterdam. After leaving for the Netherlands as an exchange student, I graduated in 2020 from Codarts in Jazz Guitar. I have been active as a session musician, composer and music teacher for over 8 years. I played as guitar player and arranger for RBSN. Now I'm currently active as producer and guitar player for Antares Flare, Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance trio, Plankton Orchestra and Sinnerman. I released my first record with Antares Flare through the Amsterdam based label Wicked Wax and RBSN record with the New York based label Ropeadope in 2021. He shared the stage with artists such as Roberto Gatto, Natalio Mangalavite, Yamandu Costa, Tineke Postma and more. He played in several festival and clubs in Italy, Germany, Belgium, France and Netherlands like Teatro Eliseo, Spring attitude, Teatro India, De Doelen, Dizzy Jazz Club, International Music Meeting Festival, Lantarenvenster, North Sea Jazz Festival, Make it Jazz Festival, Jazz Festival Generations.
