Beginners

You'll learn a good posture and breath controll. We'll work on embouchure, reading music, basic music theory, personalised exercises and your first songs and tunes.

Advanced

With a lot of fun we will go through the process of learning more advanced breathing technique and finger technique. How to create this typical saxophone sounds you like most! Tips and tricks how to develop your improvisation skills.

Lesson Location

The lessons take place at my studio in Rotterdam Zuid, nearby metro stop Slinge. Free parking!

About Me

Stephanie Francke (1989) is a saxophone player and composer based in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. In 2012 she graduated from the Conservatory of Rotterdam and was awarded the prestigious Erasmus Jazz prize. In the years following, she released two albums as main artist: 'Florigen' and 'Ripples'

Stephanie performed at major festivals and venues in The Netherlands: North Sea Jazz Festival, Amsterdam's BIMHUIS, De Doelen in Rotterdam and the Lowlands Festival, International Jazz Festival Middelburg, Jazz in Duketown and North Sea Jazz 'Round Town.
Her current main focus is Saxophone quartet 'Spoken' which put out their debut album in 2018. The group played at major venues and festivals such as Het Grachtenfestival, North Sea Round Town, BIMHUIS and De Doelen.
