Hi! I am Alexandros, a Greek pianist and enthusiastic experienced piano teacher in Utrecht. I've got my first piano lessons at the age of 6 and I'm in love with music and the piano ever since! I offer piano lessons in Utrecht to beginners, intermediate and advanced pianists of all ages.

Playful Piano Classes for Children

Your child learns to read notes in a playful and relaxed way and discovers the piano with fun exercises and classical and famous popular tunes.The lessons are one-on one for best results and personal attention. We use a modern learning method to lay an excellent foundation for quickly playing classical and contemporary music. Fun in music comes first!

More advanced Pianists

Picking up where you left off a while ago and start taking lessons again? Have you been playing for some time and looking for a fresh approach, inspiration, new repertoire and personalisesd advice on how to take your piano playing to the next level?

What can you expect?

The lessons provide targeted instructions, personal tips, scales, etudes, chords, articulation, interpretation and historical context of the music on your music stand. We delve into depth with solo pieces by Bach, Scarlatti, Schubert, Mozart, Chopin, Satie, Debussy or Einaudi. Your own input is always welcome! I'll help you to expand your musical skills, such as improvisation, accompaniment, sight-reading as well as your theoretical knowledge.

Styles and Genres

Based on your personal taste and experience, lessons can be tailored to different music genres and repertoire. Although my great passion is classical music, I have a great interest in various music styles, and I'm experienced in teaching classical, folk, pop, electronic and world music styles.

Trial Piano Lesson

During the trial lesson we will get to know each other, discuss which repertoire appeals to you most and what your goals are. you get an impression of my teaching style and we discuss lesson times and location. Looking forward to meeting you!

Four-hand piano playing

Playing four-hand piano music is really fun and gives a whole new and interesting perspective to a music lesson. Curious? Then you only have to book one of the lesson packs and give it a try!

Online Lessons

Online piano lessons for beginner, intermediate and advanced levels can be arranged. You will receive one-to-one instructions, guidance and feedback on technique, posture and musicality.

About Alexandros

Alexandros was born in Thessaloniki (Greece), where he took his first piano lessons at the age of 6. He continued his piano studies with the Prof. N. Kyriosoglou and N. Tasopoulos at the State Conservatory of Thessaloniki, where he graduated with the «Diploma of Piano» degree. He completed his Bachelor studies in Classical Piano Performance , at the Department of Music Science and Art, University of Macedonia (Thessaloniki, Greece) studying with Prof. Vinia Tsopelas. Furhtermore, Alexandros as an «Erasmus +» scholar continued his studies at the “Real Conservatorio Superior de Música “Victoria Eugenia” de Granada” (Spain) studying with Prof. Miguel Angel Rodríguez Laiz.

He is currently studying for his Master’s Degree (Mmus) at the HKU Utrechts Conservatorium with the Prof. Sebastián Colombo. Alexandros has collaborated as a soloist with the “Thessaloniki City Symphony Orchestra” and the “HKU Conservatory Orchestra” under the baton of Vladimiros Symeonidis and Cristina Lucio-Villegas. He has participated in concerts in various cities of Greece, the Netherlands, Spain, Russia and Belgium. Moreover, has attended many piano Masterclasses with distinguished pianists, such as Guillermo Gonzáles Hernández, Wolfram Schmitt-Leonardy, David Jacob Korevaar, Matitjaju Kellig, Yuri Bogdanov, Sergey Senkov, Dimitris Toufexis.
