Hello! I am Evelina Argyrou, Greek pianist and piano teacher in Utrecht. Piano is my biggest love and passion since my early youth. Coming from a musical background and family, music was undoubtedly my safe space.

Piano Lessons at Your Home in Utrecht

I give the piano lessons at my studio in Utrecht centre, but if you have a wonderful grand piano at your home, I'm happy of course to come to you, if preferred. Enjoy maximum flexibility with the 5 or 10 Lesson Packs.

Young Children

My piano classes for young children are fun and cover music basics and an introduction to playing the piano in a relaxed and supportive environment. They learn to read music in a playful way, we do clapping, singing and play easy tunes, duets and fun exercises!

Piano Lessons Beginners

My beginner piano classes offer the best of classical tuition materials. We will begin with learning the essentials of notes, rhythm and finger placement through fun exercises and simple melodies, alongside working with your favourite songs. The lessons cover the fundamentals of music theory, effective practice method, and simple improvisation. Together, we will unleash your piano potential.

Piano - Intermediate to Advanced

For advanced students, I offer beautiful piano repertoires for you to discover. In my classes, we will develop your musical, interpretative and technical skills while exploring a wide variety of styles, Let’s enjoy Beethoven sonatas, Chopin valses, Rachmaninoff preludes, Satie, Einaudi, your favourite pop songs or unknown hidden gems of classical music! You will surely discover your favourite piece, which we will work on enjoyably and attentively together.

About Evelina

Greek pianist Evelina Argyrou was born in a music environment in Athens. She obtained her piano Diploma with honours, under the guidance of Sofia Ntousia at the National Conservatory of Greece and she continued her studies with Aleksandros Makris. She graduated from the Utrecht Conservatory with the highest distinction. In June 2021, she won the Emir Steyerberg Prize for one of the best bachelor exams of the year. She is currently studying in the Master Program of Piano performance with Klára Würtz at the HKU - Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht. Her artistic activities include solo recitals, festivals, concerts with orchestras and chamber music Ensembles. She performs in important halls in Spain, France, Belgium, Netherlands and Greece.
