Welcome to my profile! My name is Olga Grammatikopoulou and I'm a classical singer (soprano) and  qualified and experienced vocal coach and singing instructor in Utrecht. I love both performing  as a singer and addressing voice lessons!

I am passionate about sharing the rich traditions of Greek music, including traditional folk music, Rebetiko, Greek pop and Entechno. While these styles use different techniques than classical singing, my experience performing in various Greek music bands, combined with my voice training, enables me to help you develop the skills necessary to sing effectively in these genres.

What can you expect?

In our lessons, we'll emphasise key elements of singing,  focus on pronunciation, the meaning behind the songs, interpretation of Greek repertoire and the unique characteristics of each style, such as vocal ornaments and phrasing. Enjoy personalised exercises and vocal techniques for a healthy voice.

Lesson Structure

• Warm-up: A short physical warm-up to activate the body, our instrument
• Breathing exercises: Mastering diaphragm breathing and breath control
• Vocal exercises: Tailored exercises to address your specific vocal needs
• Repertoire: Repertoire, focus on application of vocal technique to support your interpretation
• Tekst: Proper pronunciation of the Greek language.

Lesson Packs

As a freelance singer and teacher, I offer flexible scheduling to accommodate your availability. The 5 and 10 lessons packs are best option!

Where do the lessons take place? 

My studio is located in Zuilen and is very easy to reach by public transport, bike or car. (Free parking) I have a piano and can accompany you in the lessons.

About Me

Olga Grammatikopoulou was born in Greece in 1996. She studied Early Childhood Education at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and Classical Singing at the Municipal Conservatory of Kalamata. She specialised in Early Music at the Athens Conservatoire and further expanded her studies with a master's degree in classical singing at HKU Utrechts Conservatorium. In 2022-2023, she was a trainee at NKK NXT, further enhancing her professional development. Olga performs in several prestigious venues, including the Athens Concert Hall, the Greek National Opera, the Odeon of Herodes Atticus, TivoliVredenburg, and the Concertgebouw Amsterdam. She is currently working as a freelance singer and teacher.
