Welcome to my profile! My name is Olga Grammatikopoulou and I'm a professional singer (soprano), based in Utrecht. I have a strong passion for both performing and teaching; for sharing my knowledge and love of singing with you!

My private singing lessons offer uniquely tailored experiences for beginner and intermediate vocalists and advanced musicians. My main focus as a teacher is to help you discover and develop your own, unique, voice and sound, in a healthy and efficient way.

Classical Expertise 

Are you in love with opera arias, classical songs, (lied), baroque music or musical? I'm a classically trained singer, and frequently performing classical and baroque repertoire on international stages. Wonderful to guide you in this, and I'm looking forward to inspire you! Let's plan a trial lesson!

Where do the lessons take place? 

My studio is located in Zuilen and is very easy to reach by public transport,  bike or car. (Free parking) I have a piano and can accompany you.

What we focus on

In our lessons, we'll emphasise key elements of singing:

• Posture and presence
• Breath control and proper diaphragm use
• Safe vocal techniques for a healthy voice
• Tuning, pronunciation, and interpretation of your chosen repertoire

Lesson Structure

• Warm-up: A short physical warm-up to activate the body, our instrument
• Breathing exercises: Mastering diaphragm breathing and breath control
• Vocal exercises: Tailored exercises to address your specific vocal needs
• Repertoire work: Working on your repertoire, we focus on vocal technique, interpretation, and pronunciation in various languages.

About Me

Olga Grammatikopoulou was born in Greece in 1996. She studied Early Childhood Education at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and Classical Singing at the Municipal Conservatory of Kalamata. She specialised in Early Music at the Athens Conservatoire and further expanded her studies with a master's degree in classical singing at HKU Utrechts Conservatorium. In 2022-2023, she was a trainee at NKK NXT, further enhancing her professional development. Olga has performed in several prestigious venues, including the Athens Concert Hall, Greek National Opera, Odeon of Herodes Atticus, TivoliVredenburg, and Concertgebouw Amsterdam. She is currently working as a freelance singer and teacher.
