Preparing for Exams - ABRSM
If you are interested in preparing for exams in music, I have a broad experience in preparing students to such exams. For example - the British ABRSM or Trinity exams, or any auditions, including entry exams to universities and conservatoires.
Playing in an Ensemble
ICE (the International Center for Ensembles) is a chamber music center in which you can play in a chamber music ensemble (trio, quartet etc) taught by me or one of the other ICE instructors.

Rani Heymann was born in Israel. He graduated in 1995 with a Bachelor's degree in clarinet performance from the Rubin Academy of Music in Jerusalem. He was then granted an excellence-based scholarship to study at Indiana University Jacobs School of Music to study with Prof. James Campbell, graduating in 2000 with a postgraduate degree in music performance.
Rani has been teaching since the year 1990. His teaching experience includes individual clarinet lessons, chamber music and ensemble instruction, as well as Saxophone lessons.
Since 2001 Rani has been teaching at The American School of The Hague.
Since 2009 Rani has been teaching at the International Center for Ensembles (ICE) teaching students from various education systems such as The American School of The Hague (ASH), The British School in The Netherlands (BSN), Le Lycée Français Vincent van Gogh, and the Dutch education system.
Rani performs a variety of styles, ranging from classical to contemporary. He performed in Europe, Brazil, the USA, and Israel. He was a member of the Israeli contemporary music ensemble “Kaprizma”, with which he performed numerous concerts; as well as two collaborative projects with “Ensemble Intercontemporain”.
Rani performed with various chamber music ensembles, amongst others the “Contrasts Ensemble” (violin, clarinet and piano), and “Trio Acoustique” (clarinet bassoon and piano), “Amaryllis Ensemble” (soprano clarinet and piano)
In 2003 Rani collaborated with the composer Marion Von Tilzer, with whom he performed in the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, and recorded a commercial CD in 2007. In 2008 he took part in the Peter de Grote Festival.
Rani continually works with the pianist Uzi Heymann. Together they perform the mainstream clarinet repertoire, and collaborate with various musicians in chamber music recitals.
