Piano Lessons in Amsterdam
Hello! I'm Deniz Omeroglu, conservatory-trained pianist, composer and producer in Amsterdam. Whether you're a beginner, a passionate amateur, or a seasoned musician refining your craft, lessons are tailored to help you grow creatively, technically, and expressively.
All ages welcome!

Teaching Philosophy
Music is deeply personal - so your education should be too. Lessons are student-led, instead of a one-size-fits-all method.
- You're encouraged to explore what excites you.
- You'll be met exactly where you are, with your current skills, pace, and interests.
- You'll develop tools that help you understand, practice, play and enjoy music.
- Music theory is introduced in a clear and accessible way to help you make sense of what you're playing.
- Your strengths will be recognised and supported.
- Improvisation is encouraged, even within classical training, to give you space to express yourself freely.
- Mistakes are welcome - they're part of learning.
About Me
I'm Istanbul-born and Amsterdam-based, trained as a classical pianist and educated in music composition, production, and sound design. My work spans live performance, composition for film and theatre, electronic production, and interdisciplinary sound design - and these experiences deeply inform the way I teach.
Loradeniz
I release music under the name Loradeniz and have performed internationally, but teaching is where I see the most meaningful transformation - not just in musical skill, but in confidence, expression, and personal growth.
Creative Background
My experience as a both performing as well as composing musician gives depth to the lessons and combines technique with artistic expression. You'll benefit from an approach rooted in both tradition and innovation--whether you're learning your first scale, writing a song, or experimenting with sound and timing.
Why do I love teaching?
My goal is to create a space where you can not only develop your skills but also connect with music in a way that feels personal, empowering, and inspiring.
What matters?
A good teacher doesn't just impart knowledge--they help you believe in your potential. That's my goal for you. Whether you're discovering how to play your first chord, honing your technique and practice style, or preparing for a performance, my lessons are a place where your motivation and sound are sufficient--and worth developing.
