What to expect?

Playing the piano is a demanding activity that requires time and patience, however, it can be extremely fun! Feeling the power of creating sound through your own hands is an amazing experience! I'll help you discover how to practise in a time saving way. For that, I will give you clear and practical instructions.

Piano Lessons - Children

First step piano lessons offer playful execises, reading music, a good handposition and the first famous classical and popular tunes. We play duets and fun in music is paramount!. Piano clases en Español y Ingles.

Next step

Next step is to discover how to execute pieces from various historical periods. Your child learns a solid technical and theoretical basis. and develops understanding of the cultural and historical backdrop against which these pieces were created. This aspect of piano learning enriches your child's appreciation of music as an art form and its role in the evolution of society.

Beginners - Adults

You will learn the basics of playing piano through fun and instructive exercises, easy classical repertoire or your favourite pop songs. You will learn how to read music scores through a practical and easy method. From there, you will slowly get into more difficult pieces, building a comfortable and enjoyable way of playing.

Advanced and Piano

We'll focus on a relaxed posture, dexterity, articulation, toucher, personalised exercises, scales, arpeggios, etudes. Enjoy working on your chamber music parts, discover new repertoire or play your favourite pieces by a.o. Bach, Scarlatti, Mozart, Haydn, Debussy, Satie, Rachmaninov or Einaudi. 

Lesson Location

I teach at my charming studio, in Regentessekwartier. There, you will be able to enjoy a high quality grand piano in a cosy environment. The location is 5 minutes from the city center by public transport. I give the piano lessons in Spanish, Dutch and English.

Music Theory

Music theory is just as important as playing an instrument and my lessons combine practice and theory. Learn about rhythmical structures, the way melodies are build and gain a deeper understanding of harmony and music history.

About Me

Over 10 years ago I moved from a small town in the north of Spain to Barcelona. There I studied at one the most important conservatories in Europe: Liceo Conservatory Barcelona. In The Nethererlands I continued and finished my studies at Amsterdam Conservatory, and The Royal Conservatory of The Hague. 

Concerts

I frequently give concerts in Italy, The Netherlands, Germany, France and Spain. I won first prices in International Chamber Music Competitions. Currently I am combining my chamber music and soloist concerts with piano teaching.
