About Me
I am a certified Iranian musician, specializing in the Tar, Tanbur, and Setar. Born in 1995 into an artistic family, I began my musical journey at a young age, learning to play the Setar with my father. Later, I pursued formal music education, first at the Tehran Conservatory and then at the master's level in Iran, where I immersed myself in traditional Persian music.
Starting Young
My professional career began at the age of sixteen when I joined the Shams Ensemble. I gained extensive stage experience there. Over the years, I have had the privilege of collaborating with renowned artists and musicians and participating in both national and international tours. I have been invited to perform at major international festivals, including Le Guess Who? and Grauzone Festival.
Master's Degree
I received my master's degree from Codarts University of the Arts in Rotterdam. I perform as a member of the duo Hamraaz, along with a duduk and flute player, and write original compositions that combine Iranian and Armenian musical traditions. I combine improvisation with the rich heritage of Iranian music. I collaborate with international musicians to foster intercultural exchanges.
