"Passie voor fluit! "

De lessen bij Inez waren altijd veelomvattend met duidelijke passie voor de fluit, de muziek en persoonlijke interesse in de leerling. Er was aandacht voor techniek, blaaskwaliteit en speelplezier. In de lessen zit een mooie opbouw, we startten de les altijd met een opwarmer waarbij tevens de ademsteun een belangrijke rol kreeg, na het spelen van diverse ingestudeerde stukken sloten we de les altijd samen af met een duet van twee fluiten of een muziekstuk onder begeleiding van de piano. Zo sluit je de les altijd met een prachtig muziekstuk af, een motivatie om weer hard aan de slag te gaan met het instuderen van nieuwe stukken..... Elsaline

Sylvia is the teacher of our daughter Clotilde(14) already since a couple of years. With her dynamic and warm teaching she works with her on major repertoire pieces. Our daughter is making huge progress thanks to Sylvia and is looking every week forward to her lesson with her. I had an amazing experience receiving lessons from Aleksandra! She focused on really understanding the music - why a score was written in a certain way, why you played notes on the piano the way you did etc.- which inculcated in me a long lasting love for the piano. "Meteen overstag! "

Na lang te hebben getwijfeld uiteindelijk op mijn 45ste toch besloten dat ik de basgitaar wilde leren bespelen. Het instrument intrigeerde mij al lange tijd, maar mijn muzikale kennis was nihil. Na een proefles bij Erwin ging ik meteen overstag. Erwin is erg inspirerend en motiverend. Verwacht niet dat hij je van A tot Z bij de hand neemt. Hij stelt heel gerichte vragen en laat je veel zelf ontdekken. Na negen lessen en veel oefenen ben ik al verder gekomen dan ik ooit had durven denken. De lessen zijn elke keer een feestje en leveren een hoop kennis op. Erwin is naast een uitstekende docent ook een prettige kerel. Niet langer twijfelen dus, maar snel die proefles regelen! Bart R.

Het is geen "doe-maar-wat" clubje met Bela. Zijn methodiek is volledig gericht op vooruitgang en hij is altijd scherp en goed voorbereid op de lessen. De eerste lessen vond ik hierdoor erg zwaar, maar nu ik daardoor viool beter kan spelen ervaar ik ontzettend veel plezier aan mijn instrument en de lessen. Vijf sterren dus! Erik

This summer of 2020 I decided to take a Ableton live course with Michalis. I never even opened the software before that, very glad I decided to start this course with him. Michalis has a very clear way of teaching and a very calm and pleasant vibe always! Rafael

"He makes the difference! "

I started with Michalis almost 3 months ago. I had very little musical experience except some beginner level guitar, and I've always had love for synth-driven music and a desire to be able to play around with synthesizers. I never realized how much fun the learning process could be until I started with Michalis, learning how to access the insanely powerful Ableton to create and record music. I feel lucky that someone with his level of knowledge and experience, and as down-to-earth as him is available to give lessons on a weekly basis. With a 90-day trial on Ableton, a small midi keyboard, and audio interface everything becomes possible to have a lot of fun, and play and record my own music. The investment is small for what I get in return. With a full-time work schedule and competitive sport, I can't make much time to practice but have felt a lot of progress going each week. I finished my first block of lessons within the Ableton trial period and I'm already recording my own songs and now I know that I will continue with the lessons and keep building on what I've learned to produce an EP within the next few months. Michalis makes all the difference. It feels like I'm hanging out in a studio with my buddy, learning and experimenting.  That's what learning music should feel like. I can't recommend doing this enough as long as there is a desire or passion to do it. Sean

The best moment of my week is the singing class with Isabel! She makes you feel comfortable when you sing, is patient and close. I love that she has so much energy and passion for her job! I have greatly improved my vocal skills thanks to Isabel, now I sing without tension and my voice sounds stable and powerful. Noah

"Inspirerende Klavecimbellessen! "

Bij Avinoam Shalev ben ik begonnen met het klavecimbelspelen. Het is een ontdekkingsreis om het instrument met zijn specifieke klank en speelcultuur te leren kennen. Waar mogelijk studeren we de originele uitgaves van composities en lesboeken. Als ik technische of muzikale problemen heb, bedenkt de leraar ter plekke verschillende creatieve mogelijkheden om de  obstakels te overwinnen. En terwijl er wel heel gedetailleerd aan fijnheden kan worden gewerkt, verdwijnt nooit het muzikale geheel op de achtergrond. Tijdens de continuolessen neemt de leraar ruim de tijd om op al mijn vragen in te gaan en de antwoorden uit te leggen en te motiveren. Heel fijn was ook de steun bij mijn zoektocht naar een instrument. Avinoam is een fantastische klavecimbelspeler en de lessen zijn steeds weer inspirerend.   Elisabeth R.

"Met sprongen vooruit! "

Zes maanden geleden ben ik als volwassen beginner gestart bij Berta. Sinds ik bij Berta les heb merk ik dat mijn spelen met sprongen vooruit gaat.  Na twee maanden waren mijn vaardigheden al meer verbeterd dan in de voorafgaande zes maanden bij een andere docent. Met hele simpele aanwijzingen zorgt ze ervoor dat je toon en strijktechniek direct verbeterd. Technische oefeningen worden afgewisseld met het spelen van uitdagende stukken. Zo mocht ik na twee maanden al aan mijn eerste concerto beginnen! Ze motiveert me echt om het beste uit mezelf te halen en ik ga elke week met veel plezier naar mijn lessen. Ik kan niet anders dan zeggen dat ik echt ontzettend blij ben met Berta als viooldocent. Six months ago, I started with Berta as an adult beginner. Since then, I have improved and have actually progressed more in my first two months with Berta than in the six months prior while being taught by a different teacher.  Using simple instructions she manages to immediately improve your bowing technique and also your sound. Technical exercises are combined with challenging pieces to ensure progress is combined with fun. After only two months I was already playing my first concerto. Berta really motivates you to get the best out of yourself and every week I thoroughly enjoy my lessons. There really is no other way to state it than to say that I am extremely happy with Berta as my violin teacher. Loes C

"Excellent Violin Teacher "

During the time that Berta was a violin teacher for our son Henrique, she always presented herself as an excellent professional, always proactive and attentive to his needs.  In addition to undeniable musical and pedagogical qualities, Berta was able to cultivate in Henrique, who was just six years old at the time, great interest and enthusiasm about the violin, so it was possible to observe a positive instrumental evolution over that same period. Berta always ensures that students practice regularly and that they remain committed and motivated. She even asked me to send her audio and video recordings to accompany my daily development. I remember that a few weeks before the concerts, when I was nervous, she would always give me useful tips, not only to improve the technique, but also to get more comfortable with the violin.  At the beginning of each year, we prepared a study plan fitting the school timetable and the pieces I would like to play. Berta is always very enthusiastic and dynamic, organizing concerts and playing pieces together with the students! Lara A.
