Music Lessons near You!
Researchers are still discovering all the ways that making music enriches your brain, but the impact is undeniable. From making you smarter to diminishing the effects of brain aging to improving emotional stability, it seems playing an instrument has a hand in reconfiguring your brain and enhancing it -- permanently.
And to be clear
Just listening to music doesn't cut it. It's the active work of bringing sounds to life that delivers the biggest benefit. So dust off that old violin. Unpack your clarinet, set up your drum kit or have your bow rehaired and start taking private music lessons again!
Why we love to teach
A study showed that 90% of children between the ages of 4 and 6 had significantly increased verbal intelligence after only a month of taking music lessons, where they learned about rhythm, pitch, melody, and voice. The results suggest that the music training had a "transfer effect" that increased the children's ability to comprehend words, and even more, explain their meaning. Another study showed similar results in musically trained adult women and children that outperformed a group with no music training on verbal memory tests.

Music Tuition at your Home
Many teachers provide private music tuition in the comfort of your own home, for all ages and abilities. Please discuss this with the teacher of your choice.
Why Private Music Lessons?
Remember that, when you take private lessons, you'll receive your teacher's undivided attention. You'll be able to progress at a pace that is just right for your needs. Your teacher will be able to hear the nuances in your playing and can take the time to adjust small things, like your posture or phrasing, that can make a big difference in your development as a musician.
No Better Way
This means that your teacher will have high expectations for you, and you'll need to truly master the skills and music that you're working on before moving on to something new. Truthfully, there's no better way to become a great musician than to receive private music lessons from a talented teacher who wants to see you succeed and who understands and uses the cycle of music learning.
