The kids were interested to learn to play music instrument and we have tried classic piano lessons. Lessons were boring and kids didn't want to attend any longer. We decided to try drum lessons with Konstantin it was above expectations. The lesson was interactive, presented with kids mind and it were not just drums. The kids also get to learn marimba which has note structure the same as on the piano. After few months kids also learned some body tapping. "Perfect Teacher! "

Since I came to the Netherlands in 2017, I started to learn violin with Tomasz. Although I have been playing modern violin for fifteen years, Tomasz is the most special teacher I have ever met, and also the enlightenment teacher of my Baroque violin. I still remember the first lesson we started learning Bach's chaconne, rather than only focusing on technique improvement, he first taught me lots of basic knowledge on baroque music form and specifically in this piece: what is chaconne, what is the basso continuo and melody line in this piece, how to play the chords in a correct and historical way, etc. He also demonstrated on his baroque violin and that open me up a totally new world: a warmer, more active, and full of emotion and vitality voice that I have never heard before. Now I have already switch to baroque violin and started from zero, with the detailed and patient help by Tomasz. Sometimes he combined the baroque violin playing with history background, visualized the music style by painting, or other beautiful metaphors. He is a passionate and perfectionist musician and teacher. He said that playing the violin is like making a sculpture. Only crafted with great care and precision can complete a piece of artwork. I started taking lessons with Jean-Clair in February of 2020. I feel like he has helped me improve my skills and knowledge of the drums greatly. Jean-Clair has helped me not only play and learn new songs, but he has spotted specific things in my technique. "Bij deze docent moet ik zijn! "

Bij een bezoek aan de Muziekacademie Den Haag met een collega pianist hoorde ik Ronald in de verte les geven. Onmiddellijk wist ik: bij deze docent moet ik zijn. Als koordirigent had ik behoefte aan verdere technieken voor stemvorming. Wat mij - toen al - bij Ronald , opviel was dat hij mensen echt liet zingen en hen ook degelijk begeleidde. Al deze vroege bevindingen en meer heeft Ronald waar gemaakt gedurende de jaren dat ik zangles van hem heb. De lessen zijn stevig. Ik merk echter direct het effect van de oefeningen.Tijdens het repertoire-zingen hoor ik zo de kwaliteit van mijn eigen zang toenemen. Ronalds begeleiding op de piano is fenomenaal, zelfs wanneer ik repertoire meebreng dat hem onbekend is. Van harte aanbevolen. Theo v. D

"Verliefd op de traverso! "

Kristen is heel enthousiast en inspirerend! Ik kwam bij haar om traverso te leren spelen (ik speelde al een tijd dwarsfluit), zij hielp mij om een traverso te kopen en heeft mij snel wegwijs gemaakt op dit nieuwe instrument. Door haar lessen heb ik kennis gemaakt met de diversiteit van de barokmuziek, en heb ik ontdekt hoe mooi het eigen karakter van een barokinstrument kan zijn. De lessen zijn altijd heel gezellig en leerzaam. We spelen veel samen, maar praten ook over de achtergrond van de muziek, de verschillende versieringen in de barokmuziek, etc, waardoor je de muziek die je speelt beter gaat begrijpen. H.D.

"Love for Baroque Flute! "

Kristen is an enthusiastic and inspiring teacher! Already having played the silver flute for a long time, I decided to pick up the baroque flute two years ago. Kristen helped me buy a flute and through her lessons I quickly became confident on this new instrument. Her clear love for baroque music and period instruments has opened up a new world for me, exploring the many different styles of baroque (from early French to late German/Austrian). During her lessons we often play together, from which I learn a lot through imitation, but we also talk about the background of different pieces, ornamentations, etc, which helps me understand the music better. "Ze ziet jou echt... "

Als klein meisje speelde ik, natuurlijk zoals zoveel andere meisje blokfluit, en toen ik wat groter was altfluit en daarna ben ik dwarsfluit gaan spelen, van mijn tiende tot en met mijn dertiende. Toen overleed mijn moeder en stopten er veel dingen in mijn leven, omdat het verdriet zoveel ruimte in nam. Nu 22 jaar later, een volwassen leven verder,  dacht ik ja, ik ga dat weer proberen, muziek spelen, een instrument bespelen is zo mooi,  en het is zo'n fijne en rustgevende bezigheid. Voor mijn brein, voor mijn lijf, voor mijn gemoedsrust. Dus ik zocht een fijne dwarsfluit docente bij mij in de buurt. Kristen sprong er uit met haar vriendelijke tekst. Een mailtje was gauw verstuurd. Een nog vriendelijker mail kreeg ik terug. De eerste afspraak voor een proefles was gemaakt en was echt een cadeautje.  Ik voelde me meteen op mijn gemak door Kristen haar gastvrijheid en fijne huis en muziekkamer. Kristen is lief, warm, fijn, geduldig, professioneel en buiten dat ook een fantastische fluitiste. Ze weet wat voor jou een goede oefening is en hoe je die oefeningen het beste thuis kunt doen. Ze ziet jou echt. En als laatste....ze is ook bijzonder gezellig om gewoon mee te kletsen over het leven en de liefde. Wat net zo belangrijk is. ;) Ik zou haar iedereen aanraden. Marieke

Ik heb inmiddels 3 jaar pianoles van Juliane. Wekelijks ga ik met plezier naar haar toe. De lessen zijn ontspannen en gezellig. Juliane helpt me verder als ik vastloop bij het instuderen van de muziek. Daarnaast helpt ze me luisteren, voelen en genieten van de muziek. Juliane zorgt er ook voor dat ik kennismaak met nieuwe muziek, maar ik krijg zeker ook de ruimte om zelf gekozen muziek in te brengen. Juliane is een vakvrouw. Ik beveel ze aan.

"Giorgos helped me! "

I already had violin lessons for years when I was little, but stopped during my studies at university. After university I wanted to start again, to get the feeling back of playing the violin and try to become a bit better at it. Giorgos helped me to get back at it and to improve it. I really noticed the difference, already after a few lessons! Giorgos helps you to find your own way of practicing and also focuses on making a better sound. Giorgos is aardig. Hij geeft op een ontspannen manier les waardoor het les krijgen echt leuk is. Hij is helemaal niet streng en hij maakt veel grapjes tussendoor. Hij heeft geduld en geeft je de tijd om wat voor mij moeilijk is goed onder de knie te krijgen. Ik kijk er iedere week weer naar uit om naar zijn lessen te gaan! Shanti

"Prima fluitdocent! "

Als muzikale herintreder heb ik, met het pensioen op overzichtelijke afstand, nu al weer zo'n twee-en-half jaar dwarsfluitles bij Cristina. Vastbesloten om na mijn pensioen niet achter de geraniums te gaan zitten en meer muziek te gaan maken, heb ik op een gegeven moment de knoop doorgehakt om weer les te nemen. Ik dacht dat ik een beetje dwarsfluit kon spelen, had in mijn tienerjaren zo'n zes jaar les gehad, maar was blijven steken bij die jaren. Cristina hielp mij op respectvolle wijze uit de droom. Zij leert mij echt luisteren, kritisch zijn en mijn spel analyseren en tilt het daardoor naar grotere hoogte. Met haar scherpe gehoor en haar analytische aanpak weet zij telkens weer de juiste snaar te raken(!). Ik ervaar haar lessen als bijzonder inspirerend, werp mij iedere keer weer met enthousiasme op het huiswerk voor de nieuwe week en wil nog heel veel van haar leren! Prima lerares: bevlogen, deskundig, sympathiek en met een gezonde dosis humor!

"Corona Proof Fluitlessen! "

Na een pauze van 20 jaar wilde ik opnieuw dwarsfluit gaan spelen en dankzij Konstantinos had ik weer snel de smaak te pakken. Niet alleen is hij een fantastische fluitist, hij heeft ook uitstekende didactische vaardigheden. Hij slaagt erin om de juiste balans te vinden tussen het aanmoedigen om een hoger niveau te bereiken en het creeren van een relaxte sfeer waarin het plezier in spelen vooropstaat. Ook is het een geruststelling dat hij zeer zorgvuldig omgaat met de coronarestricties. Tijdens de lockdown hadden we lessen via skype, en hij heeft nu de ruimte waar hij lesgeeft zo aangepast dat we altijd ruim 1,5 meter afstand kunnen houden. Bovendien lucht hij deze kamer voor en na de les. Het voelt heel veilig om daar te spelen. Ellen

"A joy to play! "

After a pause of 20 years, I started playing the flute again. Konstantinos helped me to quickly get back on track. He is not only a wonderful flutist, but also has strong didactical skills. He manages to find the right balance between pushing you to achieve a higher level and creating a relaxed atmosphere in which is a joy to play. It is also reassuring that he is very thoughtful about the corona measures. During the lockdown, we had lessons via skype, and he has now adapted the space where he teaches so that we can largely keep the 1.5m distance at all times. Ik heb de  droom gehad om dwarsfluit  te leren spelen. Aangezien ik moeilijk noten lees, kon ik me niet voorstellen dat dit zou lukken. Maar Inez heeft me over die drempel heen geholpen door haar geduld en haar creatieve manier van lesgeven. H
