"Met sprongen vooruit! "

Zes maanden geleden ben ik als volwassen beginner gestart bij Berta. Sinds ik bij Berta les heb merk ik dat mijn spelen met sprongen vooruit gaat.  Na twee maanden waren mijn vaardigheden al meer verbeterd dan in de voorafgaande zes maanden bij een andere docent. Met hele simpele aanwijzingen zorgt ze ervoor dat je toon en strijktechniek direct verbeterd. Technische oefeningen worden afgewisseld met het spelen van uitdagende stukken. Zo mocht ik na twee maanden al aan mijn eerste concerto beginnen! Ze motiveert me echt om het beste uit mezelf te halen en ik ga elke week met veel plezier naar mijn lessen. Ik kan niet anders dan zeggen dat ik echt ontzettend blij ben met Berta als viooldocent. Six months ago, I started with Berta as an adult beginner. Since then, I have improved and have actually progressed more in my first two months with Berta than in the six months prior while being taught by a different teacher.  Using simple instructions she manages to immediately improve your bowing technique and also your sound. Technical exercises are combined with challenging pieces to ensure progress is combined with fun. After only two months I was already playing my first concerto. Berta really motivates you to get the best out of yourself and every week I thoroughly enjoy my lessons. There really is no other way to state it than to say that I am extremely happy with Berta as my violin teacher. Loes C

"Inspirerende Klavecimbellessen! "

Bij Avinoam Shalev ben ik begonnen met het klavecimbelspelen. Het is een ontdekkingsreis om het instrument met zijn specifieke klank en speelcultuur te leren kennen. Waar mogelijk studeren we de originele uitgaves van composities en lesboeken. Als ik technische of muzikale problemen heb, bedenkt de leraar ter plekke verschillende creatieve mogelijkheden om de  obstakels te overwinnen. En terwijl er wel heel gedetailleerd aan fijnheden kan worden gewerkt, verdwijnt nooit het muzikale geheel op de achtergrond. Tijdens de continuolessen neemt de leraar ruim de tijd om op al mijn vragen in te gaan en de antwoorden uit te leggen en te motiveren. Heel fijn was ook de steun bij mijn zoektocht naar een instrument. Avinoam is een fantastische klavecimbelspeler en de lessen zijn steeds weer inspirerend.   Elisabeth R.

I've always loved the sound of the pan flute and was looking for someone who would be able to teach me this ancient instrument which is not so popular compared to the other classical instruments. I was looking for a Pan Flute teacher online and I found some videos on YouTube where I saw Mariana Preda performing. I sent her an email and then I asked for a first introduction lesson. At that time I had almost no academic knowledge of music but she was able to teach me the basics of theory and solfege. I wanted to learn this instrument simply to impress my work colleagues but I fell in love with it and I'm now learning more. Joss

"Super inspirerend! "

Ik heb samen met mijn zoon les van Jabiz. Ze leerde hem noten lezen en al snel maakte hij muziek. Hij speelt niet alleen uit het lesboek, maar ze brengt ook muziek mee die hem erg aanspreken en hem ook motiveren om te blijven oefenen. Ook voor mij zoekt ze prachtige muziek uit. Jabiz is als docent heel geduldig en tegelijkertijd heel helder: de vaak kleine aanwijzigingen of concrete instructies zijn precies wat nodig is om weer verder te komen. Als pianiste is ze super inspirerend, ze kan prachtig spelen, heeft enorm veel kennis, maar vooral heel veel gevoel voor muziek. Het is vooral daarom dat het heerlijk is om van haar les te krijgen. Zangles met Carolien is zoveel meer dan alleen leren zingen! Carolien zet al haar kennis, ervaring, maar ook haar sprankelende persoonlijkheid in tijdens de lessen. Vanaf het begin voelde ik me bij Carolien op mijn gemak en heeft ze me stap voor stap begeleid in het leren zingen, met alles wat daarbij komt kijken. Carolien weet precies wat er nodig is om je eigen stemgeluid te ontdekken en steeds verder te ontwikkelen. "Iedere les is interessant! "

Ik had nog helemaal geen ervaring met het spelen op een cello toen ik begin 2020 op 63-jarige leeftijd een proefles afsprak met Berta. Toch wel wat zenuwachtig begonnen aan die les, maakte dat al snel plaats voor een ontspannen gevoel en dat gevoel krijg ik iedere les weer. Berta is gepassioneerd voor de cello en die passie deelt ze met bevlogenheid met mij. Iedere les maakt ze weer interessant door technische oefeningen af te wisselen met auditieve oefeningen waardoor je de liedjes steeds beter ga spelen. Ik had me geen betere lerares kunnen wensen. "Leuke cellolessen! "

Ik volg nu ruim een jaar met veel plezier celloles bij Berta. Ik had nog geen ervaring met de cello maar dankzij Berta's geduldige, leuke en motiverende manier van lesgeven maak ik mooie stappen vooruit. Ze is flexibel wat betreft het maken van afspraken en de lessen vliegen voorbij, onder andere omdat het ook gewoon heel gezellig is. Ik ben blij dat ik bij Berta terecht ben gekomen! Fabienne V.

Ik heb al een tijdje Ukeleleles van Bart. Wat ben ik ontzettend blij dat ik deze lessen heb genomen en niet zelf ben gaan oefenen met YouTube filmpjes. 99% van de YouTube filmpjes leren je de verkeerde techniek aan. Begin zo vroeg mogelijk met ECHTE lessen voordat je het jezelf verkeerd aan leert! Ik leer nu echt de juiste techniek wat mij op de lange termijn veel verder brengt.
