Hi Ik ben Michalis Michailidis en ik geef privé gitaarlessen aan kinderen, jongeren en volwassenen in Rotterdam. 

Beginners tot gevorderden

Beginnen met gitaar en nummers van je favoriete playlist leren spelen? Ga je de draad weer oppakken na een lange tijd niet gespeeld te hebben?  Speel je regelmatig en wil je je techniek opfrissen, te gekke solo's leren improviseren en je kennis van Jazz harmony en scales vergroten? 

Diverse stijlen

Ik ben helemaal thuis in uiteenlopende stijlen als Jazz, Blues, Pop, Rock, Funk, Songwriter en wereldmuziek. Met een uitstekende basistechniek kun je alle stijlen leren spelen!

Proefles

De proefles is een prettige manier om even kennis te maken en om de locatie, lestijden even te checken. Ik hoor je graag spelen en je krijgt meteen een indruk van mijn manier van lesgeven.

Nog geen gitaar?

Ik geef je graag tips en advies over huur of koop van een betaalbare en goede gitaar. Ook als je iets op marktplaats hebt gevonden, denk ik graag met je mee!

Gitaarles voor kinderen

Vanaf een jaar of 8 zijn veel kinderen toe aan gitaarles. Als je een enthousiaste gitaarleraar voor je kind zoekt ben je ook daarvoor bij mij aan het juiste adres! Speelse benadering en leuk lesmateriaal.

Mijn leslocatie /studio in Rotterdam centrum is prima te bereiken met O.V.

Wat kun je verwachten?

Jouw favoriete muzieksoort staat centraal in de les, we werken aan je eigen nummers, de laatste hits of jazz en latin standards! Als je wilt leer je noten of tabs lezen. We gaan aan de slag met tips uit de praktijk om meer uit je techniek te halen. Je merkt hoe je soepeler gaat spelen en meer gevoel in je spel kunt leggen.

Muziek software en Ableton Live

De technologie verbetert iedere dag en integreert in het creatieve proces van live uitvoeringen op het podium of het maken van muziek thuis. Mijn producerlessen bieden inzicht in de creatieve mogelijkheden van Ableton Live. Je leert hoe je dit gebruikt als software voor opnames of als een krachtig effect als loop en sample unit. De lessen met Ableton kunnen gecombineerd of onafhankelijk van de gitaarlessen worden gevolgd.

Over mij

Ik ben een Griekse gitarist en muziekproducent gevestigd in Rotterdam. Al vroeg werd ik geraakt door gitaarspelen en ik kreeg meteen lessen van verschillende erkende lokale muzikanten. 

Opleidingen

Na mijn afstuderen aan de Moderne Muziekschool van Thessaloniki (2007-2011) kwam ik naar Nederland, waar ik mijn Bachelor Jazz Gitaar aan het Conservatorium Maastricht (2011-2015) en mijn Master of Music aan Codarts, Rotterdam (2016- 2018) behaalde.

Festivals en muziekstudio

Ik treed regelmatig op met diverse bands, op podia en festivals over de hele wereld. Ik heb een perfect ingerichte studio voor gitaarlessen en muziekproductie in centrum Rotterdam.

Super exciting!

When it comes to a supportive teacher, Michalis meets all the standards. He is calm, patient and adaptive to the students needs. He is very professional, which we can see from the quick progress that our son Alex is making.
