Elsa is a gifted cello player with strong teaching affinity, and is absolutely passionate about music. Her love for the art is evident in her enthusiastic and energetic teaching techniques. She is exceedingly patient with Sophie, addresses performance techniques in articulated way, eyes for executing musical pieces with rhythm and dynamic, and encourages her to outperform. Although it was for a relatively short period, Sophie loved these lessons and made tremendous progress in learning how to play cello. Sophie has always spoken very highly about her teaching style, which is patient, firm, supportive and very effective. I am tremendously grateful to her for everything she has taught my daughter and the joy her cello performance has brought to our family.
