Lavinia has been teaching me violin over the last years and, as an adult beginner with a busy schedule, I would consider myself a tricky case as a student. She adapted her teaching (and schedule) perfectly to allow me to focus on the music I was most interested in, to account for my prior music theory knowledge and to strike the perfect balance of technical exercise and enjoyable music. We, also, played wonderful duets together. During the challenging starting period and beyond, she proved patient and helped me whenever I got frustrated. With her dedication to teaching me, she allowed me to overcome challenges and develop personally and musically. Overall, she has taught me to cherish the piano and violin, as well as to play and understand the music that captures me most. I am grateful for this enriching opportunity and hope that many others will find it through her teaching. Pablo
