De Mingus-prijs, vernoemd naar jazzlegende Charles Mingus, is bedoeld voor de meest veelbelovende componist. Deze prijs ging naar Ketija Ringa Karahona van het Conservatorium van Amsterdam voor de compositie New Blues.

I had an amazing experience receiving lessons from Aleksandra! She focused on really understanding the music - why a score was written in a certain way, why you played notes on the piano the way you did etc.- which inculcated in me a long lasting love for the piano.

Ik ben geen beginner meer en zat echt vast in mijn eigen gewoontes. Na iedere les van Lennert groei ik. Hij legt het duidelijk uit en heeft veel kennis. Zijn les methode is echt pakkend en op maat. Hij verdiept zich goed in wat je precies wilt en helpt je daarna goed op weg je doel te bereiken.

De lessen bij Erwin zijn super inspirerend! Zelf bas ik al een ruime tijd en heb ik in meerdere bands gespeeld. Maar ik merkte dat ik in sommige dingen vastliep. Dus ik besloot om weer eens na lange tijd basles te nemen.
