Jean-Clair kan je op een natuurlijke manier net dat stapje extra laten zetten om verder te komen met drummen. In zijn lessen wordt drumtechniek afgewisseld met nummers meespelen. Jean-Clair kent geschikte nummers voor mijn niveau en speelt gemakkelijk mee met zelf aangedragen nummers.
