Accordion lessons in Delft and Rotterdam

Hello! I am Elizabeth Fadel, I am from Brazil, and I am a very enthusiastic and dedicated music teacher. I have been living in Rotterdam for 15 years. I am a multi-instrumentalist and have been teaching accordion, piano, recorder, guitar, cavaquinho and percussion for 20 years. I am also a music therapist, so in my lessons I also focus on your relationship with music and your own learning process.

Beginners

Do you want to start playing again after a long time? Is this your first introduction to the accordion and are you fascinated by the versatility of this beautiful instrument? You do not have to be able to read music yet, we will explore the accordion step by step.

What else?

We use some accordion methods and I'll give you exercises that perfectly match your needs. You will learn to read music and develop a relaxed way of playing. I also love improvising and playing freely, so if you feel like improvising, great!

Various Genres

Do you play regularly, and do you want to expand your repertoire, improve your technique and delve into a new genre? You can come to me for Brazilian music, jazz and classical music (but also klezmer, tango and world music.

Plan your Lessons

With the Strippenkaart of 5 or 10 lessons you have flexibility and quality! You never forfeit a lesson! The lessons can be given on different days and vary from 30 minutes to an hour. I teach in Dutch, English, Portuguese and Spanish.

Trial Lesson

You are welcome to get acquainted during a trial lesson. The best way to discuss your musical wishes and get an impression of my way of teaching.

Lesson Location

I give private accordion lessons at my studio in Rotterdam and at my home in Delft. I can come to you if preferred. I may charge travel costs.

About me

As a multi-instrumentalist, I regularly perform in concerts and theater performances. I mainly play brazilian music, jazz and classical (but also klezmer, tango and world music). I have several projects like Banda Fulo, Forro das Flores, De Tropische Tulpen and De Eigenwijze Jukebox. I studied Music Therapy in Brazil, worked as a musician there and came to Holland to study Early Music. I finished my bachelor's degree at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague in 2014. Since 2021 I am teaching several subjects at Codarts, and since 2012 I teach piano, accordion, percussion and ensembles at EPM Holanda - Choro School.
