Hola! I'm Isabel Bermejo. I'm a Rotterdam based, experienced and enthusiastic singing teacher. Would you like to expand your voice range and work on your singing technique? Are you preparing yourself for a concert, studies or do you just want to sing because you love it?

Voice Training 

I offer one-to-one for adults and adolescents in Rotterdam area. With personal attention and guidance you will lift your singing abilities to a higher level and you will be able to more easily express the content and melody of a text. Enjoy the balance between vocal health and personal expression.

Singing from the Emotion

Our body is wise and our voice and breathing adapt to our needs. Teaching from the motivation and emotion of a well-chosen repertoire is a great step to adopt a good vocal technique. With attention for a healthy and relaxed posture, You'll receive the tools to express yourself through singing!

Microphone?

Singing the kind of music you like best motivates you to sing frequently and with joy! If you are interested in singing  Jazz, Latin or Pop you most probably will need some tips in the use of a microphone. This 'extension of our arm' should be taken in consideration and I will help you with this! Curious? Book a trial lesson!

Group Singing Lessons

Singing together is always so fun! To sing in a group (unison or in harmony) is always an advanced way of improving our listening skills. We will work on textures, technique, harmony and ear training with a very fun repertoire.

Sing in Spanish!

Are you interested in improving your Spanish though singing? Now is the time. Besides singing teacher I also have experience in teaching Spanish and I am a lover of Latin music! Especially Bolero (Mexico, Cuba, Colombia), Son Cubano, Argentinian Tango and Spanish folk music (Copla and Zarzuela among others). I believe this repertoire helps you to work hard in expression and feeling.- one of the most important things in life!

I also offer fun, comprehensive and motivating online voice lessons for beginners, intermediate and advanced singers. Live feedback and instructions!

About Isabel Bermejo

Versatile and passionate musician, singer, composer and vocal pedagogue, Isabel Bermejo is characterised by her powerful stage presence, capable of transmitting feelings in its purest state. Isabel Bermejo, born and raised in La Rioja (Spain), is a highly qualified teacher officially certified with a bachelor in pedagogy (UR University), bachelor in Jazz-Vocals (Conservatorium Maastricht) and Master’s degree in Latin Music (Codarts).
In addition to this she followed masterclasses and courses around the world like: the New York Jazz Academy (Manhattan - Sara Serpa), Madrid with Helen Rowson (Still Voice Training course 1 and 2), Germany with the legend of Jazz Sheila Jordan or The Netherlands with the adventurous singer Jay Clayton, Sabine Kühlich or Connie de Jong.
Currently living in The Netherlands, Isabel has had the opportunity to play with several jazz musicians and especially Latin Jazz,- having the opportunity to participate in the Dutch TV show 'Vrije Geluiden', play at the North Sea Jazz Festival, play Tango at Opera Dagen, adding music to the Rotterdam Film Festival or perform her own compositions at De Doelen theater, among others.
Soon she will release her solo album with the project The Impact (Jazz, Spanish folklore and Poetry).- this will be her third studio album. Her first and second album were released with progressive rock band Black Desert (Spain) with whom she worked for five years in the specialisation on very demanding singing styles as Rock, Hard rock or Heavy metal.
