About Me

I moved to the Netherlands from Austria to study Jazz and classical Music at the Prins Claus conservatory in Groningen. I graduated with a master degree in Rotterdam.

During my time as a student I was fortunate to get to study and play with musicians out of the New York Jazz scene such as David Berkman, Paul Berner, Matt Wilson, Todd Coolman, Alex Sipiagin and many more.
I took classical bass lessons and participated in master classes with Sorin Orcinschi, Francisco Obieta, Catalin Rotaru, Dorin Marc, Matthew Midgley and Wolfgang Guttler.

Honetsly said, I'm a very active musician and part of various bands.
For my solo Project, I won the 2nd Price at the “Il Sole In Cantina Award 2016”. I recived also 1st price at “Leiden Jazz Award 2017” with “Marco Apicella Trio”, the price for the best solist at “Erasmus Jazz Price 2017” and in November 2017 I was invited to play at the international Choro Festival in New York City.
