When it comes to a supportive teacher, Michalis meets all the standards. He is calm, patient and adaptive to the students needs. He is very professional, which we can see from the quick progress that our son Alex is making. Because of the current situation with the pandemics we had to continue the lessons online and Michalis is sending us extra video guides which have proven to be very effective for the learning process! I am a beginner on the instrument, over 70 years old and have a number of physical problems, but Paulina has all the patience in the world, remains good-humoured, even when I make stupid mistakes and is very good in explaining how to improve my playing. She shows how to do it on her own cello, but doesn't make you feel worthless.

After not playing guitar for 10 years I picked up the guitar again. After getting frustrated about youtube videos(too easy or too hard) I started my lessons with Michalis. He really takes the time for you and always comes with new ideas on how to improve your playing. He listens to you and can quickly adapt to answer all your questions in an understandable way. Michalis always keeps in mind that a guitar lesson needs to be fun. In just 4 months of lessons I have learned more than in all the years before. "Sweet Teacher! "

I found Çisem on this website and her happy photo immediately caught my attention. I read a lot of nice reviews on her and I can say.. it's all true. Çisem is a very sweet teacher and takes you by the hand on your violin-journey. I had zero experience in music and the violin and Çisem helped me to learn read notes, intonation, rhythm, bow-movements, left-hand gripping, how to relax and much more. She has a nice repertoire of exercises to learn technique like for example holding the bow and using it. I also really appreciate that she asks whether you want to continue with learning a new thing or want to take your time to figure out a technique or music piece. I am using the book 'Speel Viool' to learn to play violin and Cisem guides me through it. With now and then extra information or exercises, for example watching how conductors work and try to understand their movements. Xia Zhu

I love going to Alexandra's lessons and am finally able to enjoy playing the piano! Even though I loved and appreciated my childhood piano teacher, my childhood piano lessons were quite strict, and I was often scared to go to them. Considering the experience, my motivation of taking piano lessons this time was simply to be able to enjoy playing! Great thanks to Alexandra, I am finally enjoying playing the piano! Alexandra offers me rich lessons every time and I really enjoy every one of them. She is patient, kind and passionate about music. She also offers lots of knowledge on the historical contexts, the composers' intention, technique (helps me to understand my 'bad-habits' or dynamics.) and so on. When I have my lessons, she is always smiling and acts like my friend. Katja is great at getting me focused when I get distracted, when I say that she is like a friend I mean that when I am tired, she adapts to how I feel. For example: sometimes I tell her I am quite busy {when she asks me how I am} she gives me less work which makes it easier for me to do a good job without any stress. One of the better decisions I made in recent years is picking up piano lessons. With Katja it was different from day one. Being a professional musician she has a very sharp eye to prevent you from making mistakes that are later hard to correct. During the lesson she has permanent awareness of the students state and is adjusting, always carefully adapted to your personal possibilities and limitations. A private lesson is really so as her focus is always with you and all distractions are cut out. I am an adult student so it was quite of a project to start learning at such life stage. I can definitely say Mara had the most profound impact on my musical trajectory. She is also the reason I actually started taking my music project seriously despite my lack of confidence. My shyness faded as my inspiration grew from her broad passion, deep knowledge and patience. I was looking for someone who could go deep into how to play an instrument properly without making it drudgery, and that is exactly what I found.
