"More than just about playing piano! "

I started learning piano with Mijin in April 2021. I was pretty insecure back then, because I didn't have any experience playing an instrument. I didn't even know how to read notes! The first conversation on the phone with Mijin already reassured me. She was very understanding and patient. And that's how she has been for the last year and a half. She emphasises to me that playing the piano is about fun, and making a mistake is more than okay. The lessons I have with Mijin are more than just about playing piano. She always makes time to talk about the things that are important in our lives and to us both. So, besides the life lessons I learned from her, I can actually play piano pretty well haha. "Zangles bij Petronella? Probeer het! "

Petronella Palm is oprecht een van de beste zanglesdocenten in de wijde omgeving. Niet alleen is haar technische training uitmuntend, maar ook de aandacht voor alle facetten van het zingen en optreden maken haar lessen een volledige opleiding. Daarbij is mijn ervaring dat haar eigen internationale zangcarriere echt een gedegen basis geeft voor de lessen. Ik ben vele jaren geleden begonnen bij Petronella en heb iedere les daarvan genoten. Niet alleen haar aanhoudende inzet voor de technische onderdelen, maar ook de aandacht voor het plezier in zingen maken het een ervaring die nooit verveelt. De lessen  zijn op niveau en groeien mee, waarbij je enerzijds wordt uitgedaagd met technische stukken en anderzijds altijd ruimte is voor eigen inbreng en muziekkeuze. Bovendien is voor mij een van de belangrijkste pluspunten van Petronella haar aanhoudende streven naar perfectie, zonder dat daardoor druk ontstaat. Deze manier van werken heeft me niet alleen heel veel geleerd op het gebied van zang, maar is ook 100% toepasbaar op de rest van het leven. Petronella ziet de potentie in mensen en ziet meer dan dat je zelf ziet. Ik geloof echt dat het dankzij haar is dat ik in de afgelopen 15 jaar de ontwikkeling heb doorgemaakt die ik heb doorgemaakt. Het enige wat ik kan aanraden is, probeer het! Laat je verrassen, door de lessen en jezelf! Sabine

As a beginner on the clarinet I started lessons with Elia 3 months ago. Elia is very enthusiastic and professional in his approach and his passion for music is clearly evident. During the lessons he shows plenty of patience and is very encouraging, giving positive advice on technique and musical interpretation. In addition I am pleased that he identified and fixed some technical problems with my clarinet. I find Elia an excellent clarinet teacher and can recommend him to anyone looking for lessons. Alison
